Connect Gmail

Add Gmail or Google Workspace using a Google App Password.

Gmail and Google Workspace connect with a Google App Password. Chesly walks you through generating one inside the app.

Steps

Settings > Email Accounts > Add Email Account > Gmail.
Enter your address. Type just you for @gmail.com, or your full Workspace address (you@yourdomain.com).
Tap Continue. Chesly opens Google's App Password page with your email pre-filled.
Tap Create on Google. Copy the 16-character password.
Paste it back in Chesly. Spaces don't matter.

Chesly verifies over IMAP and your inbox starts syncing.

2-Step Verification is required. If yours isn't on, Google walks you through enabling it first.
Workspace: works as long as your IT admin allows App Passwords for your domain.

Settings > Email Accounts > tap the address > Disconnect, or delete the Chesly entry at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.
