Add chat apps in Settings > Connected Platforms > Add. Chesly supports WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Discord, Instagram, Messenger, Slack, Google Chat, Google Messages, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
Two options:
- Phone number (default on iOS): enter your number, then on your phone open WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device > Link with phone number and enter the 8-character code.
- QR: on your phone, WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device and scan the QR.
Same multi-device linking WhatsApp Web uses. Your phone doesn't need to stay online.
Telegram
Sign in with your phone number. Telegram texts you a code. If you have 2FA on, you'll also enter your cloud password.
Signal
On your phone: Signal > Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device. Scan the QR in Chesly.
Discord, Instagram, Messenger, Slack, Google Chat, Google Messages, X, LinkedIn
Sign in inside Chesly. The session stays connected as long as it's valid on the provider side.
Notes
- One Chesly install counts as one linked device. WhatsApp caps you at 4 total.
- End-to-end encryption is preserved on WhatsApp and Signal.
